Why these numbers
  • Using the Sales meeting / event preset — curve calibrated for event attendees who tend to size up on casual swag.
  • Men-leaning at 40% female, which pushes the curve toward L–XL.
  • No tail bias — the curve isn't pushed toward bigger or smaller sizes.
  • No replacement cushion — order matches headcount exactly.
  • Total = headcount × (1 + 0%) replacement cushion.

Frequently asked

How many shirts do I need for our sales kickoff?
One per attendee plus a tiny cushion (0-5%) for late additions and damaged shirts. Sales meetings are usually well-RSVP'd, so you don't need a big replacement allowance.
What sizes should I order for a sales team?
Lean corporate, slightly male, with a real M-XL concentration. The calculator does this by default - adjust the female % to match your roster.
Should I order one size up for casual swag?
Slightly - people tend to want roomy fit for swag they wear casually. This is already baked into the sales-meeting preset, so you don't need to compensate.
What if it's a multi-day meeting with multiple shirts per attendee?
Multiply headcount by the number of shirts per attendee before plugging it in. The size distribution stays the same.
