Mixed Employee Shirt Size Calculator

Blended workforce sizing. Tune the gender mix to match your team - the rest of the curve adjusts with it.

Most companies aren't all-corporate or all-trades. If your team blends office and operational staff, plug in headcount, set the gender mix to match reality, and you'll get a per-size order that handles both ends of the curve.

Why these numbers
  • Using the Mixed workforce preset — curve calibrated for a balanced full-headcount gifting order.
  • Balanced at 50% female, which pushes the curve toward S–M.
  • No tail bias — the curve isn't pushed toward bigger or smaller sizes.
  • No replacement cushion — order matches headcount exactly.
  • Total = headcount × (1 + 0%) replacement cushion.

Frequently asked

What is a mixed workforce in this context?
Teams that combine office and operational staff - retail HQs with warehouse, hospitals with floor staff, manufacturers with corporate, and so on. The size mix sits between pure corporate and pure blue-collar.
How do I tune the calculator for my team?
Start with the gender mix slider - it's the biggest lever. Then if your team leans heavier toward operations, you may want to add a couple of percentage points to 2XL/3XL by hand.
Should I split men's and ladies' cuts?
Usually yes for mixed workforces. Office staff in particular notice fit; trades staff are mostly indifferent. Split cut is the safe default.
When should I use the Blue Collar or Corporate calculators instead?
If your team is overwhelmingly one or the other. Use this one when you genuinely have a blend.
