Why these numbers
  • Using the Employee appreciation preset — curve calibrated for a balanced full-headcount gifting order.
  • Balanced at 50% female, which pushes the curve toward S–M.
  • No tail bias — the curve isn't pushed toward bigger or smaller sizes.
  • 5% replacement cushion baked in.
  • Total = headcount × (1 + 5%) replacement cushion.

Frequently asked

How many shirts should I order for employee appreciation week?
One per employee plus a small cushion (5-10%) for damaged shirts, late RSVPs, and new hires that show up between order and delivery.
What sizes should an employee appreciation order include?
Full XS-3XL range. For most offices the demand concentrates in M-XL, but the 2XL/3XL tail matters - running out at the big end is the most common complaint.
Should I order unisex or split men's / ladies'?
Split if your audience cares about fit (it does more than you think). Unisex is cheaper to stock and easier if the shirt is loose / casual.
How do I handle remote employees in the count?
Count them in the headcount and plan to ship. Most teams err on the side of including everyone - a missing shirt to a remote employee lands worse than a couple of extras.
